Contra to Popular Belief
Dance, dance, dance! If you've never contra danced before, you don't have to, but you'll love it if you do! We'll teach you, and it will all be good!
If you have, you'll be even happier! You'll dance the night away to the contra-dictory stylings of one of the best bands around. They're from just down the road, and they know how to have a good time!
Contra dancing is a very enthusiastic, very aerobic activity (and good exercise, to boot!). As such, you'll be happiest if you're wearing light loose clothing. You should also bring along soft soled shoes suitable for dancing.
