Boston Logan (BOS)

Logan is the main airport for the Boston Metropolitan area. Most, if not all, airlines fly into this airport, many with direct connections from larger cities. Because Boston is not the hub for any airline, the main airlines tend to compete in hot markets, and sales can be dramatic, if you catch them at the right time. However, because of the convenience and the direct flights, fares are generally more expensive than the other three airports.

Logan is located on the eastern edge of the city, about 30 miles from Concord. While it is technically possible to take public transportation to Concord, service on weekends will be spotty, and the commuter rail station is about two miles from Concord Centre. You’ll have to take either a shuttle service to Concord, or rent a car. A car will facilitate getting around if you are staying in one of the hotels that is not within walking distance to the Scout House.
